Tetrahedral, cubic, irregular-prismatic, icosahedral, and cubo-octahedral particle shapes were observed, whose distribution was dependent on the concentration ratio of the capping polymer material to the platinum cation. Controlling the shape of platinum nanoparticles is potentially important in the field of catalysis.}, issn = {1095-9203}, doi = {10.1126/science.272.5270.1924}, author = {Ahmadi, Temer S. and Wang, Z.L. and Green, T.C. and Henglein, A. and El-Sayed, Mostafa A} }
