The aggregation phenomena were investigated by transmission electron microscopy and UV-vis spectroscopy. Upon proteolytic treatment of the bacteria, the distinct aggregation patterns disappeared.}, isbn = {0002-7863}, doi = {10.1021/ja301167y}, author = {Hayden, S. C. and Zhao, G.
